ZAC SUNDERLAND SET TO APPEAR AT SAN DIEGO YACHT AND BOAT SHOW,
JULY 22-25, HARBOR ISLAND

Zac Sunderland is a true American adventurer. At the age of 17, he became the youngest person
to successfully sail solo around the world. Sunderland departed Marina del Rey harbor on June 14, 2008, in a 36-foot Islander sailboat, "The Intrepid", that he had purchased with his own money for only $6,000. On July 16, 2009, Sunderland returned to his home port in Los Angeles. Sunderland's record setting journey took him to such far away and exotic places as the Marshall Islands, Darwin, Australia, Papua, New Guinea, Cocos Islands, Capetown, South Africa, Grenada and the Panama Canal. Sunderland and his sailboat will be making a four-day appearance at the 7th Annual San Diego Yacht and Boat Show, July 22-25 at the Sheraton Hotel/Marina and Cancer Survivors Park on Harbor Island. Meet this young American adventurer at the boat show and learn more about his remarkable exploits.
